About Community "Discussion"
Our founder have been very passionate to help many others similar family or individual as hers. She have been sharing product images, links, and even a list of brand products. Over time she realise that everyone has different needs, with that this technology platform is enabled to allow word of mouth sharing within the community. This is why "Product" recommendation or seeking community group help can be tagged within a "Discussion" post.
About Community "Product"
Engagera strategy are as below:
Allow regular users to contribute, modify maintain the accuracy of the product listing as a community with every individuals judgemental expertise.
Business users are who officially maintains their ingredient list, declarations to ensure these are as per their certification will be maintaining the data quality of their product and share it with their target market groups. Their post will have a badge [Official] and will be blocked for regular user amendments to ensure data integrity.
Why?
As Engagera organically grow by Business getting to know us better. They will join Engagera as Business Users to maintain their data and there will be less inputs required from Regular Users.
Brand Declared Labels: Refers to the labels officially declared and stated by the brand or product company. Selection must be as per uploaded packaging photo.
Best Effort Tags: Refers to the user or product company or brand’s best guess and unconfirmed declaration for the ingredients and product. Selection are best guess tags which ingredient does not appear on the product ingredient list.
"May Contain" on a label will be listed in the ingredients and will not be selected under the "Best Effort Tags".
Consumers scan the ingredient list, we normally look for what is not included before we purchase.
Brands are starting to flood their product packaging with exclusion call out as it creates more attending for someone who is looking out for a product that is suitable for them. (eg. "Gluten Free", "Nut Free", "Egg Free", "Top 9 Allergen Free", "No Palm Oil", "Vegan", "Vegeterian", etc). This decision have lead to increase in marketing packaging cost and has impact to the sustainbility agenda the company is trying to balance with.
Engagera's design decision too into account the eco-system and enabled this for all consumer searching for the product by "No Gluten" "No Wheat" "No Mustard".

Regular User Subscriptions : How to upgrade / downgrade / cancel subscription?
We're glad you are looking to upgrade your subscription to enable more features.
Go to your profile page and scroll down to the section "Current Plan".
Click on "Manage Membership" and proceed with the "Upgrade Membership" selection and payment.
We're would like to hear why you are looking to downgrade / cancel your subscription. Please drop us an email at contactus@engagera.co to give us more insight into what we can do better and what features should we add to our roadmap.
Go to your Google Store or Apple Store and cancel your subscription.
When your subscription has ended, you will be downgraded to Basic (Free) user and will be able to subscribe to another the membership tier.
You’ll continue to enjoy all the premium or family subscription benefits until your current expiration date. Please refer to Terms & Condition.

About Saved
What is so special of the Saved feature in Engagera?
Our founder loves getting data organized with that our Saved features are design to replicate to be similar to the tabs in the Community.
Discussion Saved are for users to store what would help them in their future references.
Product Saved are for users to store what products works for their family and what they would be trying next! For impacted families, these are being reference to frequently before shopping or when there is an observation reaction that impacts their health.
About Calendar
What use cases are there for Exposure and Observation template?
Engagera's Exposure and Observation template are customised to the highest level of requirement which is catering to Allergy impacted individual and family.
However, there are many usable use cases:
Health Supplement : What product you have consumed? What Observation you have over time?
Change in Diet : What product have you change to consume? What Observation you have over time?
Allergy / Intolerance / Health Diet : What product you have consumed? What Observation you have over time?
For Family Subscription, why only 1 user allow to be a Family Subscriber (Owner of Group) or join a Family Subscription Group?
The current use case for this subscription module is for family members and close friends to come together to collaborate within themselves.
Family Subscriber will be an owner of a Group and will not be able to be invited to another group.
A Basic User or Premium Subscriber can only join 1 Group.

About Engagera's Cyber Data Security
Is there any audit or testing done to ensure the Technology Platform is safe?
We are try our best to ensure the technology platform is secure.
We have prioritised to ensure key of Cyber Data Privacy foundations are built-in on the outset.
We have appointed a vendor who has certified Master Data Privacy Officer (DPO) to be our ACRA (The Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority Singapore) DPO officer.
We have completed our initial VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) in Dec 2024 to understand the Cyber Data Security Risk posture and have priortise to have them fixed in the upcoming releases.
How can I delete my account on Engagera Platform?
We are sad you have decided to leave us. We appreciate all your contributions towards the Communities module, they will be retained with the intent that your contribution will be helpful for other members in the Community. Your Personal Productivity (example: Calendar) data will be deleted as per our retention policy and not retrievable after. Please refer to latest Terms & Condition and Privacy Policy for more information.
By Proceeding with Deletion of You Account from your Engagera Mobile App Profile Page, you indicate that you have read and understood the implications. Upon User acceptance, database to be wiped as per SDCH Pte Ltd data retention schedule. Username on post are kept, but link to profile is removed.
We hope you will rejoin us again in the upcoming future.
